- Nothing. Describing a project, getting matched and collecting quotes are free for homeowners. You contract and pay your contractor directly. Filteraty is not a party to that contract and takes nothing from your project price.
- Do I have to create an account to get a price range?
- No. You can run an assessment and see an indicative GTA range first. An account is only needed when you want to invite a contractor or post your project so contractors can respond.
- How are contractors screened?
- Before a contractor can quote, we verify company identity, the trade licences Ontario requires for their trades (for example ECRA/ESA for electrical), general liability insurance, and WSIB standing. Anything that lapses pulls them out of matching.
- Which areas do you cover?
- The Greater Toronto Area: Toronto, Peel, York, Durham and Halton. Pricing guidance is calibrated per region rather than averaged across the province.
